Father Ivo Pavic
Fr. Ivo Pavic was born in 1965 in Croatia. At the age of 24 he heard the Lord’s voice: “You’ll be my priest”. He worked in a factory and had never thought about religious life but immediately responded to the Lord’s call. He was educated in Visoko, Sarajevo and ordained a priest in 1997. Fr. Pavic continued his education graduating from the Franciscan School of Theology in Sarajevo in 2000.
In 2005, Fr. Pavic went to Rome to study at the Pontifical Gregorian University completing his doctorate on the “Baptism in the Holy Spirit in the Church”. It was in Rome where Fr. Pavic received another call from Jesus to be His instrument in healing people.
Fr. Pavic currently serves the faithful at the Church of the Sacred Heart, in Bosnia/Herzegovina. It is the largest Catholic parish in the area and is best known for his prayer services for healing where the faithful come from all of Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and beyond.
Fr. Pavic believes that “Jesus wants us to initially do what Jesus did –to preach the gospel to every creature, forgive sins and heal the sick.”
