Healing & Empowerment School with Damian Stayne

You don’t want to miss it!

Hello all future students of the School of Healing and Empowerment!

It’s really almost here!

Thank you for registering for the Healing and Empowerment School with Damian Stayne at the University of Thomas in St. Paul.  (map link)  The conference is being held in the auditorium of the O’Shaughnessy Education Center located near the library on campus.

Doors open on Friday at 5:30 p.m. with Praise & Worship beginning at 6:00 p.m and ending at 10 p.m. (That was a change from the newsletter). YOU DO NOT NEED TO PRINT YOUR PAPER RECEIPT/ TICKET/BARCODE.  On Saturday and Sunday, we begin at 9:00 a.m.  There will be coffee and water available and a morning snack on Saturday.

Some Driving and Parking Tips:

  • If you Google the University of St. Thomas, 2115 Summit Ave., select the “Anderson Student Center”.  (Please reference the attached maps.)
  • The two ramps that are recommended for you to park, are the Anderson Parking Ramp  at Grand & Cretin (see video) and a ramp under the Anderson Student Center at Summit & Cretin.  (Entrances for both ramps are along Cretin Ave.)  Both ramps are $1.50/hour.  When you enter, insert your credit card.  You will not grab a ticket.

NOTE:  The ramp under Anderson Student Center is not available before 9:00 a.m. on Sunday.

Dropping off guests is an option!  Enter the “Admissions Lot” off Cleveland Ave.  The conference is in the building on the left, the O’Shaughnessy Education Center (OEC).  There are some handicap parking and some surface spots in this lot.  (There is no parking in any spots marked for “Admissions” or any staff spots on Friday.  Faculty and staff spots are open parking on Saturday and Sunday.)

Be prepared to walk this weekend!  Please allow extra time.  Dress for the weather!

(If you may need extra assistance, please let us know in advance.)

All meals will be in the Anderson Student Center (see map).  It’s a buffet style with many options, including gluten free selections.  Most food items are marked.

Miracle Healing Service – Saturday Night

The school schedule at the University of St. Thomas ends at 5:00 p.m. and dinner is available.  Keep in mind that since the Miracle Service is open to the public, the church is expected to fill.  Please plan accordingly.  We are unable to save seats for all School participants.  Damian has asked that those attending the School are mixed throughout the church.  Confession will be available toward the end of the service.  He will encourage people to go, who have not been to the sacrament for a long time.  Invite others to come.  This night will go late.

The address for St. John the Baptist Catholic Church is:  835 – 2nd Ave NW, New Brighton, MN 55112 (map link)

The School ends on Sunday at 5:00 pm.  Please plan to attend all sessions.

The University of St. Thomas website states:  “Vehicles without a permit will not be ticketed during the day beginning at 6 p.m. Friday until 10 p.m. Sunday in resident, faculty/staff, and commuter lots.  Visitor parking ramps remain pay by the hour over the weekend.  Overnight parking is only allowed in Lots A & V on the weekends.”

All surface lot spaces, with the exception of 15-minutes zones, require a permit from 10 p.m. Sunday until 6 p.m. Friday.  https://www.stthomas.edu/parking/policies/restrictedparking/
